Research

A rich research environment

The School of Social Work is a rich research environment, with scholars collaborating on a wide array of themes.

Our research started in 1984 and it covers a broad range of subjects in social sciences. We focus on social problems, their definitions, origins, causes and solutions. Our researchers examine issues regarding people's living environments and living conditions, as well as undertake research on interventions for vulnerable groups and individuals. Additionally, to a large extent our researchers analyse welfare policies and social policy measures, as well as human service organisations and their professions.
