Doctoral student Claudia Di Matteo's has written an article together with Niroshan Ramachandran, Edge Hill University, UK, in the Social Inclusion, Open Access Journal.

The article explores the definitions of inclusive cities employed in the context of migration in Sweden and UK. By conducting a scoping review, the writers findings suggests that in both the Swedish and the UK’s social work literature concerning migration, the role of stakeholders, the socio‐cultural context, the spatial context and the migrant experience of inclusion are key in defining inclusive cities. The results contribute to an enhanced understanding of what an inclusive city is and social work inclusive practices' role in supporting migrants with distinct needs.
